"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"
(Per wikipedia) - The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a PG-13 musical comedy about a fictional spelling bee, in which six quirky adolescents compete under the supervision of three equally off-beat grown-ups. Based on Rebecca Feldman's improvisational play C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, one distinctive feature of the show is that four real audience members are invited onstage to compete alongside the cast, while the official pronouncer—often an improv comedian--supplies absurd usage sentences on request.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at www.bottlecapsllc.com.

Periodic Tables Event
To mark our nation’s 250th birthday in 2026, the National Issues Forums Institute is launching What’s Next, America? And Oak Ridge Periodic Tables is honored to take part!
The initiative will provide tools and resources for Americans to address a challenge or build on an opportunity in their neighborhoods, communities, classrooms, and beyond. Through deliberative discussion guides, talk‐to‐action trainings, and a nationwide story‐gathering effort, America’s Next 250 will elevate local problem‐solving, connect civic actors, and answer the hopeful question: “What’s Next, America?”
Many Americans believe that the time is right for conversations that bring people together who might not normally talk and work together, conversations that will encourage fresh, innovative thinking and actions to emerge.
What’s Next, America? is designed to do just that— connect people who are already working to develop strong communities while bringing new people and new ideas into the mix.
If you're interested in being a part of this incredible initiative, please register! Space is limited to 100 people, so sign up at WhatsNextAmerica — Oak Ridge Periodic Tables.
This FREE event is offered in partnership with Our American Roots, Oak Ridge!
