Step 4: What’s Your Role?
At the Historic Grove Theater, we invite you to not just “give back,” but to give forward. Here’s what that looks like:
Be a responsible guest.
To keep operational costs down, the Grove Theater is only able to afford basic (once a week) janitorial services at this time.
Please refer to our cleaning checklist provided during your facility walk-through and available here.
Return things (and settings on sound/lighting equipment) to the way your found them. The next user group will thank you!
If you are an event organizer that oversees a large group of performers/participants—YOU will need to set the tone for your group by communicating why/how the Grove is different than most other venues.
Consider your impact.
Be mindful that if you reserve a date (particularly for a large event)—our “yes” to you, often means a “no” to someone else. If you need to cancel an event, please let us know as soon as possible!
Make sure our theater admin has current contact information (ie, an email address you actually check!) Help us, help you make your event a success by staying in communication with us.
In order to maximize our impact, we may book concurrent user groups where possible and practical. Please be kind, courteous and flexible to other people/groups you might encounter!
