The Marble City Opera returns for another incredible show—this time, “The Tragedy of Carmen.”

Tragedy of Carmen distills the story into a taut, intimate drama of obsession and desire. When the soldier Don José abandons everything for the fiercely independent Carmen, his love turns possessive and ultimately violent, leading to a devastating and inevitable end.
