Grove Spotlight: Schuhplatter 7 Polka Band

On any given Wednesday night, the Grove Theater is filled with the chatter and laughter of young people from High Places’ youth group. But if you strain your ears, you might also pick out the sounds of…polka music?!? Yes, that’s right—this April marks the one-year anniversary of welcoming the Schuhplatter 7 Polka Band to the Grove! This talented group of musicians offers seasonal concerts at various assisted living facilities in the area; but when they aren’t on tour, you’ll find them faithfully practicing each week at the Grove Theater.

The Friends of the Grove would like to thank Alessandra Hirschman and the Schuhplatter 7 for their generous financial support—and for their dedication to perfecting and sharing their musical gifts. The world is a more joyful place because of them!
