Theater 12 (Large Theater)
Description:
Stadium seating for up to 500 people
Stage Dimensions: 35’ wide x (15’ deep to curtain + 15’ deep to backdrop + 7’ to back wall)
Suitable for: Concerts, plays, ballet/dance performances, large audience events
Stage is equipped with a curtain and a flat white backdrop - but does not have a film projector, movie screen or proper rigging to hang backdrops from
Green room/changing space is available below the stage area (rustic, no bathrooms)
Sound/Lighting Equipment Available:
Soundboard for house speakers; can connect to speakers with bluetooth
Lightboard and computer program available to use and program stage lighting
Portable spotlight (requires technical knowledge to use!)
Note: The Grove Theater is happy to try and meet all your audio-visual needs, however we are limited in the type of equipment we own and can supply. All requests for sound equipment should be noted in your reservation request form and discussed with our audio-visual staff during a facility walk-through.
Additionally, for larger setups, user groups will be required to provide a vetted sound and/or lighting technician. If you do not have one, we may be able to recommend one. An approximate rate for a sound technician is $150 for the first three hours and $50/hour after that.
